What do you do?

What do you do when you’re anxious and/or panicking?

When your usual tricks and distractions only help so much, or not at all?

When you hurt physically as well as mentally. When you miss people so much that it hurts. 

I’ve tried everything, but if it helps at all, it’s only for a little while. It’s been three days with this intense, heavy sadness and anxiety. I’m watching my shows, knitting, gaming, seeing friends, but I’m stuck in a rut.

Maybe I should be more patient. But I feel like I need a project or some kind of new SOMETHING to help me move along.

So what do you do when you are overwhelmed emotionally, and your old tricks aren’t helping as they used to?
